Villa Stefanos or parts of the Villa Stefanos are offered for holiday rental.
Point 1
Please check availability of the desired unit, complete the reservation request and submit the form per email. The owner will confirm availability, rental price and payment instructions on return. You then have 10 days until the owner should have received the initial non-refundable deposit (25% of the total rent due). Another email confirmation and statement emailed to you by the owner will be the formal acceptance of your booking.
Point 2
The balance of the rent is payable not less than eight weeks before the start of the rental period. If payment is not received by the due date the owner reserves the right to give notice in writing that the reservation is cancelled. Reservations made within eight weeks of the start of the rental period require full payment immediately after confirmation of availability.
Point 3
In addition to the rental price the Client is liable for damages caused by him to the property or the contents.
Point 4
Subject to clause 2 and 3 above, in the event of a non-insurable cancellation refunds of amounts paid will be made if the owner is able to relet the unit. Any expenses or losses incurred in doing so will be deducted from the refundable amount. It is strongly recommended to arrange a comprehensive travel insurance policy (including cancellation cover) and to have full cover for the party’s belongings, public liability etc., since these are not covered by the owner’s insurance.
Point 5
The rental period shall commence at 2.00pm on the first day and finish at 11.00am on the last day.
Point 6
The maximum number of persons residing in any one unit shall not exceed the maximum number of persons as stated on the website for that unit without prior confirmation through the owner.
Point 7
The client agrees to be a considerate tenant and to take good care of the property, also to leave it in a clean and tidy condition after the end of the rental period. The client also agrees not to act in any way which would cause disturbance to those resident in other units or neighbouring properties.
Point 8
The client shall report to the owner without delay any defects in the property or breakdown in the equipment, plant, machinery or appliances inside or outside the rented unit. Arrangements for repair and/or replacement will be made as soon as possible. The owner shall not be liable to the client: For any temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of public or private services to the property, nor in respect of any equipment, plant or machinery appliance in or outside the unit for any loss, damage or injury which is the result of adverse weather conditions, riot, war, strikes or other matters beyond the control of the owner. For any loss, damage or inconvenience caused to or suffered by the client if the property shall be destroyed or substantially damaged before the start of the rental period.
Point 9
In this event the owner shall notify the client and refund to the client all payments previously paid in respect of the rental period.
Point 10
Under no circumstances shall the owner’s liability to the client exceed the amount paid to the owner for the rental period.
